Tooya is alive!
This is a very interesting cel. When I was looking for a screen cap for it I realized that this was not used in the anime. It came with the boat portion and I used a background from another cel from the same episode to kinda match it.
I guess they decided to show Tooya descending into the boat in the cel I own before this one and cut out this cel. The Tooya portion is a pan cel so it is meant to move vertically while the others stay in place.
I have always wanted a cel from this scene and I am proud to own this one. Even though I do not think it ended up not being used in the episode. You can see a set up from this scene that was actually used in the anime at Anime Jewell's gallery.
